Departure at 8 a.m. from Marrakech in 4x4 for M’Hamid el Ghizlane via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit to the kasbahs of Tamdakhte and Aït Benhaddou. Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch. Continue towards Zagora. Visit the town of Agdz offering a superb panorama of the Drâa valley. Continuation of the circuit along the valley to Tansikht. Stop at Tamegroute. Visit the Koranic library, the underground kasbah and traditional pottery. Departure for M’Hamid el Ghizlane, arrival at our Ras Nikhal bivouac, dinner, nomadic folklore and night in a tent.
Breakfast, then a one-hour camel ride. Departure in 4x4 on a sandy track for the Chegaga dunes, the largest in Morocco. Lunch in the shade of palm trees or tamarisk trees. Return to the track for the Chegaga bivouac to watch the sunset. Dinner and night in a tent or under the stars.
Departure for Marrakech by the track between the Chegaga erg and the dry bed of the Drâa passing by Lake Iriqui, then by Foum Zguid and continuation by road via Taznakht. Return by road to Marrakech
